Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a very high quality enlisted man’s uniform set for a U.S. Aero squadron member. The set is comprised of the following pieces:
- Excellent condition heavy wool four pocket tunic with cotton lining. Aero insignia on left shoulder with single chevron and overseas bars. Correct U.S. eagle buttons and collar tabs.
- Wool jodhpur style pants with tin buttons that read U.S. ARMY.
- Enlisted man’s peaked visor cap with wicker interior and silk lining.
- Wonderful overseas garrison side cap with incredible high quality detailed embroidered Areo wing insignia.
- World War I Victory Medal with MEUSE-ARGONNE campaign bar.
- Medal ribbon bar composed of an unofficial WWI victory ribbon. It is seen on some state medals from the war as well. Past Commander for the VFW.
- Medal ribbon for the Verdun Medal.

This is a much high quality enlisted man’s uniform than typically encountered, it is the quality of an officer’s uniform. Clearly a man of means but perhaps not of the highest education or capability. WWI U.S. Aero squadron material is always difficult to encounter, especially complete uniform sets, this is the highest quality enlisted man’s uniform we’ve ever encountered.
